Director of Programs, Non Profit in Las Vegas, NV

The purpose of the Director of Programs is to provide leadership and direction in all aspects of College Access and Counseling Program implementation and service delivery in Las Vegas. In addition, help maintain and strengthen relationships between the programs and stakeholders such as board members, schools and other community partners as well as providing direct student services such as curriculum delivery, experimental learning and student advisement sessions. The Director of Programs will strategize and implement the blended learning project and will be responsible to ensure quality of service delivery at partnered Las Vegas school sites. A Snapshot of the Essential Duties & Responsibilities:?Lead College Acceptance Program (CAP) blended curriculum project implementation.?Work with CAP and Counseling team during curriculum revision process to ensure that revision aligns with goal of online curriculum presence.?Recommend modifications to existing curriculum/program materials and create instructional activities in collaboration with the College Access Program team and leadership.?Work with COO to set and meet specific goals and benchmarks for project implementation.?Research new teaching tools and practices that can assist CAP and Counseling team effectiveness in blended learning.?Manage the day-to-day operations of the CAP and Counseling staff and service delivery at partner sites.?Help train and orient new Fulfillment Fund staff. Directly supervise two CAP advisors, and share supervision of two college counselors.?Supervision of staff includes the following tasks (Subject to growth of management responsibilities as tenure and program develops): review and approval of expense forms, review and approval of payroll, PTO, time sheets and provide written and verbal performance reviews.?Work with staff to ensure accurate and timely data collection, data entry and database maintenance.?Work with team and the CAP Specialist to ensure consistent quality of service delivery at school sites, including but not limited to: curriculum delivery, one on one student meetings, experiential learning activities and additional projects, activities, events.?Help in management of school-site budget. Ensure expenditures stay within allotted budget and are spent strategically within outlined purposes and goals.Supervisory Responsibilities: Supervise College Access and Counseling staff.Qualities and Qualifications: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
