Las Vegas, NV ~ Career Opportunity in Payroll...Payroll Specialists on the Conversion Team work in a multi-client, fast-paced and deadline driven environment converting payrolls for processing. As a Conversion Specialist, you utilize your experiences working in payroll to perform all activities necessary for payroll conversion. Working independently and in a team environment providing excellence in customer service both externally and internally, Conversion Specialists will assist in updating changes for established Clients; act as backup for Payroll Processing and EFTPS enrollments; problem-solve client issues as necessary; and assist in balancing and preparation of employment tax reports.In this role, you must communicate effectively both verbally and in writing while providing support to clients, their representatives and employees in a professional consultative manner.? Three to five years of Payroll experience necessary. Bonus points for experience working in a Service Bureau environment? Knowledge of State and Federal employment taxes and basic labor law? Skilled in general accounting or bookkeeping; familiarity with standard balancing and reconciliation techniques? Experience in computer data entry?
